Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Leeds is seeking a Workplace Coordinator on a maternity cover basis. You will be the customer-facing representative for facilities services across three Leeds sites and act as the single point of contact for building users.

The role requires ensuring a tidy and professional environment, logging maintenance calls, coordinating with Floor Leads, and supporting fire procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a strong customer service environment.
• Experience using CAFM systems, including logging jobs, running reports and raising purchase orders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• IOSH or similar health and safety qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the customer-facing representative for facilities services across three Leeds sites.
• Act as a convenient single point of contact for building users.
• Ensure a tidy and clean appearance across floors, desks, collaboration spaces and breakout areas.
• Report issues to Floor Leads and the Client.
• Act as the first point of contact for FM-related issues.
• Log calls on behalf of building occupants and direct them to the correct department.
• Hold regular communication and monthly meetings with each Floor Lead to discuss issues, queries and outstanding works.
• Log and chase work orders on behalf of the client.
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor and actively inspect shared areas.
• Play an active role during Fire Emergencies in line with building procedures.

• Computer literate and competent in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Formal Health and Safety qualification, such as IOSH, desirable.
