Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Cardiff City Centre is seeking a friendly Workplace Concierge / Coordinator. You will be the first point of contact for colleagues and visitors, provide workplace support, and ensure meeting rooms and spaces are prepared and presentable.

You will report to the Assistant Estates & Facilities Manager and work with a supportive onsite team to resolve day-to-day queries, assist with events, and look for practical ways to improve the overall workplace experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in reception, concierge, hospitality, workplace, facilities, or office support roles.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key contact for colleagues and visitors.
• Provide workplace support and resolve day-to-day queries.
• Set up, reset, and maintain meeting rooms and collaborative spaces.
• Support workplace events and employee engagement activities.
• Ensure office areas remain professional, organised, and presentable.
• Assist with facilities-related requests and escalate issues as needed.

• Collaborate with the wider workplace and facilities team.

Workplace Concierge / Coordinator

Location: Cardiff City Centre

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (inc 1-hour unpaid lunch break per day)

Pay Rate: £14.42 per hour

We are looking for a friendly, proactive, and customer-focused Workplace Concierge / Coordinator to join our fantastic team at the Cardiff headquarters of a leading corporate client.

This is a varied and people-focused role where no two days are the same. Reporting to the Assistant Estates & Facilities Manager, you will work closely with a supportive onsite team to ensure colleagues have an exceptional workplace experience and can focus on their day with minimal disruption.

What You'll Be Doing

• Acting as a key point of contact for colleagues and visitors
