Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd. is seeking an experienced Voids Supervisor on an interim basis to oversee voids across housing stock in Leicester, Coventry and Northampton.

The role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality repairs and managing day-to-day void operations in a busy team. The successful candidate will lead a team of 8, ensure workmanship meets targets, and maintain excellent communication with residents and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery of void workstreams.

Voids Supervisor – Interim (Leicester, Coventry, Northampton)

We are currently recruiting for a Voids Supervisor to join acontractor on an interim basis, overseeingvoids across their housing stock in Leicester, Coventry and Northampton!

As a Voids Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of voids, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity to join a customer-focused organisation and make an immediate impact within a busy void team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the delivery of void workstreams
• Manage a team of 8 operatives, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure service targets are achieved.
• Monitor void performance, quality, and productivity.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
• Support the planning and allocation of resources to maximise efficiency.
• Produce reports and updates on performance and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervisingvoids within social housing.
• Strong knowledge of housing maintenance.
• Experience managing direct labour teams and contractors.
• Good understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
