Job summary

Housing Association Hastings is seeking an experienced Void Supervisor to lead a team of operatives across the Hastings area, covering all maintenance and voids work. The role focuses on supervising voids contracts, ensuring contractor performance, and maintaining high quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have Social Housing experience and be IT-literate, capable of coordinating with suppliers and customers while upholding health and safety on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising voids or reactive maintenance teams.
• Knowledge of social housing environments is preferred.
• IT literacy for reporting and KPI tracking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise voids contracts and operatives to meet KPI targets.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors on work sheets and timeliness.
• Liaise with customers to handle queries and issues.
• Ensure works are completed to high quality and on time.
• Submit paperwork and reports per company procedures.
• Oversee health and safety on sites and ensure a tidy, safe workplace.
• Complete time sheets, worksheets, and inspections as required.

We are representing a leading Housing Association in the Hastings area who are looking for a Supervisor to join their team covering the Void work.

They are looking for an experienced Void Supervisor to manage a team of operatives covering all maintenance across the area.

Duties:

• Supervision of the voids contracts ensuring that all operatives are working efficiently and productively
• Ensuring that suppliers/subcontractor works are carried out in accordance with the work sheets given and in a timely manner meeting all contract KPI targets
• Liaising with the customers and dealing with any queries or issues which may arise
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to a high-quality standard
• Ensure all client's expectations are achieved
• Ensure that paperwork and reports are fully completed and submitted in-line with the Company procedure
• Overseeing health and safety procedures are being adhered to on sites
• Be jointly responsible for ensuring the workplace is tidy and safe
• To complete time sheets and work sheets and reports as required
• Attend inspections where necessary

Key Knowledge

• Previous Social Housing experience required
• Experience working on reactive repairs, voids, or planned works projects
• IT Literate
