Job summary

SkyBlue Solutions is seeking an experienced Working Foreman/Woman to support safe, compliant site operations on HS2 at Water Orton. This hands-on supervisory role focuses on health & safety leadership and delivering daily works across civils, structures, and earthworks.

You will lead safety on site, supervise trades and subcontractors, run toolbox talks and risk assessments, monitor plant and housekeeping, and help incident reporting and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on-site civil/structures works with emphasis on safety.
• Proven ability to manage RAMS, permits, and compliance.
• CV updated with recent site roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site safety: RAMS, permits, and compliance.
• Supervise civils tasks across structures, earthworks, and construction.
• Coordinate workforce and subcontractors, ensuring safe, efficient delivery.

Working Foreman/Woman

Location: Water Orton, B46 1DZ
Rate: £26.17 PAYE
Hours: 07:30 - 18:00
Duration: December 2027

We are looking for an experienced Working Foreman/Woman to support safe and compliant site operations on HS2. This is an all-round supervisory role with a strong focus on health & safety leadership, ensuring safe delivery of daily works across structures, earthworks, and general construction activities.

Key Duties

• Lead daily site safety: enforce safe systems of work, monitor compliance, and ensure all activities follow RAMS and permit requirements
• Supervise all-round civils tasks including structures, earthworks, and general construction operations
• Coordinate workforce and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are carried out safely and efficiently
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and point-of-work risk assessments
• Monitor plant, equipment, and work areas to ensure safe operation and housekeeping standards
• Support incident reporting, near-miss capture, and corrective actions

Required Skills & Experience

• Solid understanding of site safety protocols, RAMS, permits, and compliance requirements
• Ability to supervise teams and maintain high H&S standards
• Valid Gold or Black CSCS
