Job summary

SkyBlue Solutions is seeking a Working Foreman/Woman to support safe and compliant HS2 site operations. This all‑round supervisory role focuses on health & safety leadership, ensuring safe delivery across structures, earthworks, and general construction activities.

The role requires solid site safety knowledge, RAMS, permits, and a valid CSCS (Gold/Black) with SSSTS credentials, to lead and motivate the crew on a busy construction site.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of site safety protocols, RAMS, permits, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to supervise teams and maintain high H&S standards.
• Valid Gold or Black CSCS.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site safety: enforce safe systems of work, monitor compliance, and ensure all activities follow RAMS and permit requirements.
• Supervise all‑round civils tasks including structures, earthworks, and general construction operations.
• Coordinate workforce and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and point‑of‑work risk assessments.
• Monitor plant, equipment, and work areas to ensure safe operation and housekeeping standards.
• Support incident reporting, near‑miss capture, and corrective actions.
