Job summary

Time Recruitment is seeking a Working Foreman for a live residential refurbishment project in the UK. You will lead from the front, manage up to six tradespeople, and stay hands-on on site to deliver quality workmanship on a detached property with a small extension.

You will read drawings, ensure safety standards, and drive progress while reporting to the Project Manager. The role offers a 3-week contract with a daily rate and immediate start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Working Foreman on refurbishment or residential projects.
• Strong drawing interpretation skills.
• Confidence managing small teams of trades and subcontractors.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
• SSSTS (highly desirable)
• Passivhaus and air pressure testing experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise up to 6 tradesmen at peak periods.

Working Foreman

£200 per day 07:30-15:00 Start by 2nd November 3-Week Contract

Want to take charge of a £300k residential refurbishment project while still staying hands‑on on the tools?

We're looking for a capable Working Foreman who can lead from the front, keep standards high, and drive a quality refurbishment project forward. If you're comfortable managing trades, reading drawings, and getting stuck into the work yourself, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role on a live residential scheme where your experience will make an immediate impact.

The Project

You'll be working on the refurbishment and refit of a detached property, including a small extension. The project is currently valued at £260k and is expected to increase to around £300k as works progress.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you'll oversee day‑to‑day site activities while remaining actively involved in the work on site.
