Job summary

Time Recruitment is seeking a Working Foreman for a live residential refurbishment project in the UK. You will lead from the front, manage up to six tradespeople, and stay hands-on on site to deliver quality workmanship on a detached property with a small extension.

You will read drawings, ensure safety standards, and drive progress while reporting to the Project Manager. The role offers a 3-week contract with a daily rate and immediate start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Working Foreman on refurbishment or residential projects.
• Strong drawing interpretation skills.
• Confidence managing small teams of trades and subcontractors.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
• SSSTS (highly desirable)
• Passivhaus and air pressure testing experience (preferred)
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate site operations on a busy refurbishment project.
• Lead and supervise up to 6 tradesmen at peak periods.
• Work on the tools when required.
• Read and interpret drawings to ensure works are delivered correctly.
• Provide clear direction and maintain productivity on site.
• Monitor quality, programme and site standards.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to specification.
