A leading company is seeking a team supervisor for cleaning operations in London, offering a structured 7-day rota schedule. The role involves managing a team, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and reporting on team performance. LOCATION: SOUTHBANK EMPL GROUP, London, SE1 9PH
SHIFT PATTERN: 7-day rota, 5 days on, 2 days off (incl. Saturday and Sunday) -
Shift hours: 8 am to 4 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm
40 hours per week

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
You will provide customer service to the client and the clients landowners:
• Act as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters
• Ensure adherence to all contract terms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Outstanding Communication skills both internal and external.
• The Ability to effectively prioritise workload and build relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A customer focused approach.
• A proactive/can do attitude to work.
• The ability to work on own initiative and take full responsibility of role.
• The ability to follow process/instructions.
• Ensure all operations comply with statutory Health & Safety legislation, including PPE use
• Maintain up-to-date risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and insurance documents
• Supervising a team of cleaners
• Ensure all team members receive necessary training, including vehicle and machinery use
• Attend company’s compulsory training
• Manage staff rostering, absences, and annual leave, ensuring minimal disruption and adequate cover
• Submit monthly rosters in advance and promptly updates on absences or leave changes
• Monitoring and controlling tasks to ensure completion to a high standard
• Prepare and submit monthly reports
• Communicating with Line Manager
• Check works once completed
• Conducting Team briefings and appraisals
• Accountable for the team
• Complete staff wages
• Supervise all site activity
Skills & Requirements:
• Experience managing teams and overseeing day-to-day contract delivery
• Knowledge of Health & Safety rules, risk assessments, and COSHH
• Good with Microsoft Excel and Word – able to create rotas, tables, reports
• Comfortable using a computer for email, reporting, and tracking
• Strong communication skills – written and spoken
• Organised and able to handle multiple tasks
• Proactive, reliable, and good at solving problems quickly
• Holds a full, clean UK driving licence
