Position: Workforce Planning and Organisational Development Assistant

Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,449 - £26,583

Location: Stirling (Hybrid)

About the Role

Stirling Council is seeking a Workforce Planning and Organisational Development Assistant to join their Workforce Planning & Organisational Development team. Our People services are vital in supporting our organisation and community. We aim to build a robust People function to meet our council’s goals, focusing on best practices, Fair Work commitments, and innovative approaches.

This role involves providing high-quality business support to the Workforce Planning and Development team. Key activities include:

  1. Recruitment support, pre-employment checks, preboarding, and onboarding of new staff
  2. Creating ID badges and coordinating with the technology team to ensure new employees have equipment
  3. Booking training courses, venues, and equipment, and supporting the training process

Ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience in supporting busy teams, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in learning needs analysis and development planning is desirable.
