Job summary

This post is a fixed-term/secondment opportunity for 12 months to meet the needs of the service.

This role offers a 12-month fixed contract. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Workforce Optimisation Project Support Officer to support various projects within the Optimisation Team. Key responsibilities include administrative duties, diary management, and supporting project delivery.

Essential skills and experience for this role include:

  • Experience of Workforce Optimisation
  • Experience within a large, complex NHS organisation
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to design booklets, posters, and promotional materials
  • Event organisation from planning to feedback
  • Interfacing with Executives and Senior Managers
  • Understanding of Prince 2 methodologies, e.g., Foundation in Project Management

The Project Support Officer will assist staff in achieving programme outcomes through high-level project and administrative support. The role involves being the first point of contact for many staff, providing support, training, and guidance.

Main duties include:

  • Optimisation
  • Administrative and diary management
  • Facilitating multiple projects
  • Design of promotional materials
  • Organising events from planning to post-event feedback
  • Other duties as required

Desirable: Fluency in Welsh; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally encouraged to apply.
