Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a contract Workday Product Owner to lead the HCM and Recruiting roadmap for a global insurer in London. The role is hybrid, with 2 days onsite and a 6-month engagement at £750/day inside IR35.

You will own the Workday backlog, run sprint planning with People stakeholders, manage vendors, and ensure platform stability, security and compliance while improvements are delivered. Strong experience in Core HCM and Recruiting is required.

Qualifications

• Workday PO or functional lead with depth in Core HCM and Recruiting.
• Agile delivery with backlog ownership and sprint cadence.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across HR, TA and Technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the backlog and roadmap for Workday HCM and Recruiting.
• Run sprint planning and prioritise demand with People function stakeholders.
• Manage vendors and partners on delivery and service quality.
• Keep the platform stable, secure and compliant while improvements are delivered.
• Report progress, service levels and decisions to senior stakeholders.
