Opus Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Workday HCM Project Manager for a hybrid UK-based role. The position offers a day rate of £700-£800 Inside IR35 on an initial 6-month contract within a major insurance-related Workday transformation programme.

You will lead delivery across HR, Technology and PMO, coordinating vendors and partners to drive design, build, testing and deployment, ensuring governance and risk management are maintained throughout the lifecycle.

We are supporting a leading insurance organisation embarking on a significant Workday HCM implementation programme and are looking for an experienced Workday HCM Project Manager to join the team. This is a key role within a large-scale transformation initiative, supporting the delivery of Workday HCM across a complex enterprise environment. The programme is currently moving through implementation phases and requires an experienced Workday Project Manager capable of driving delivery across business and technology workstreams.

The Role

You will take ownership of Workday HCM delivery activities, working across HR, Technology, PMO and third-party implementation partners to ensure successful execution of the programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project plans, managing delivery risks and dependencies, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring the programme progresses successfully through design, build, testing and deployment phases.

Desirable Experience

• Insurance or wider Financial Services experience.
• Exposure to Recruiting, Compensation, Talent or Payroll workstreams.
• Multi-country or global Workday implementation experience.
• Experience supporting programme mobilisation and implementation delivery.
• Previous experience working alongside major consulting partners.
