Job summary

S&P Global Inc. is seeking a Workday Integrations Developer to join the People Platforms team. You will design, test and deliver Workday integrations, ensuring data security and adherence to best practices within a SAFE Agile framework.

You will collaborate with HR and Employees services teams globally to translate business needs into scalable integration solutions and support production issues while driving continuous improvement across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 4–5 years as a Workday Application Developer.
• Experience building Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, custom reports, document transforms).
• Strong knowledge of Workday modules: Core HR, Recruiting, Payroll Interfaces, Business Processes, and security.
• Familiarity with Workday Web Services, APIs, Workday Studio, XML and XSLT.
• Experience handling production integration issues and encryption.
• Awareness of Agile practices and SAFE SDLC.

The People Platforms team, part of Corporate Platforms, strives to provide a genuine impact in delivering shared services for people functions reliably, securely, applying data privacy best practices and ensuring a seamless experience for our people at S&P Global. We work as a trusted partner with our stakeholders and technology colleagues in making decisions with a people-first approach driving S&P Global to Power the Markets of the Future., As a Workday Integrations Developer, you will be part of the Corporate Platforms team which sits in office of CTTO, providing reliable, secure shared services for people functions, adhering to best practices and ensuring a seamless experience for our people at S&P Global. This job will require you to collaborate with the other members in People Platforms, People (HR) and Employees services teams who continuously drive improvements and help each other to deliver quality work. You will have a chance to partner with various People (HR) teams globally focusing on high impact work that will give you an opportunity to network, develop your skills, learn, and provide a path for success in building your career. This role will be involved in delivering value though Safe Agile in design, providing solutions development, testing, implementing of integrations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and People Platforms team to design, test and deliver Workday integrations
• Adopt SAFE software development practices as part of our SDLC
• Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices
• Understand and ensure data security, privacy and data quality in integrations is maintained
• Analyze and translate business specifications and change requests into technical specifications
• Consult with business and technical teams about interface design and maintenance; collaborate on design decisions
• Design and develop interfaces and conduct unit and integration tests
• Ensure integrations function as designed based on business requirements
• Provide support for inbound and outbound integration issues, changes to existing integrations and develop new integrations

An ideal fit for this role would require the following experience/knowledge in Linux and Workday:

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering, or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience
• 4 to 5 years of experience as Application Developer in Workday
• Relevant certifications are a Plus
• Strong understanding of File Transfers, PGP, and Workday modules especially Core HR, Recruiting, Payroll Interfaces, Business Processes, Organizational Hierarchies, and Integrations Security
• Experience developing Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Custom Reports and Document Transforms)
• Knowledge of other integrations using Workday Web services, APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards), Workday Studio and knowledge in XML and XSLT
• Experience supporting any integration failures including encryption in the production environment
• Knowledge of Agile approaches to software development and ability to put key Agile principles into practice to deliver solutions incrementally
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong oral and written communication
