Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced Workday Integration Lead to own complex integration workstreams, focusing on PECI payroll interfaces and ADP. Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Workday integration consulting experience.
• Strong experience with PECI payroll integrations and ADP.
• Proven ability to lead payroll integration workshops and ownership of interface design.
• Experience on at least two full-lifecycle Workday implementation projects.
• Background working for a Workday services or implementation partner.
• Solid understanding of Workday HCM and Payroll data model related to integrations.
• Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Confident in leading workshops and influencing design decisions.
• Relevant Workday certifications (Integrations, PECI/PICOF).

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll integration workshops with client stakeholders, driving requirements gathering and sign-off.
• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations focused on PECI payroll interfaces to third-party providers like ADP.
• Own end-to-end integration design for payroll workstreams translating business needs into scalable solutions.
• Partner with HCM, Payroll, and Benefits leads to align designs with Workday configuration.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership during the full deployment lifecycle, including plan, architect, configure, prototype, test, deploy and post-go-live support.
• Troubleshoot complex integration defects with client IT, middleware, and vendor teams.
• Contribute to integration strategy, standards, and reusable design patterns.
• Mentor junior integration consultants and provide technical guidance across delivery teams.

We’re looking for an experienced Workday Integration Lead to take ownership of complex Workday integration workstreams, with a particular focus on payroll integrations, PECI, and ADP.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who can lead workshops, shape integration architecture, make confident design decisions, and deliver robust solutions throughout the full Workday implementation lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Lead payroll integration workshops with client stakeholders, driving requirements gathering, solution design, key decisions, and sign-off.
• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations, with a strong focus on PECI payroll interfaces to third-party payroll providers, including ADP.
• Own the end-to-end integration design for payroll workstreams, translating business requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions.
• Partner with HCM, Payroll, and Benefits functional leads to ensure integration designs align with the wider Workday configuration.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership throughout the full deployment lifecycle, including Plan, Architect, Configure & Prototype, Test, Deploy, and post-go-live support.
• Troubleshoot complex integration defects in collaboration with client IT, middleware, and third-party vendor teams.
• Contribute to integration strategy, technical standards, best practices, and reusable design patterns.
• Mentor junior integration consultants and provide technical guidance across delivery teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of hands-on Workday integration consulting experience.
• Strong, demonstrable experience with PECI payroll integrations and third-party payroll providers, particularly ADP.
• Proven experience leading payroll integration workshops and owning payroll interface design.
• At least two full-lifecycle Workday implementation projects, from design through deployment.
• Previous experience working for a Workday services or implementation partner.
• Solid understanding of the Workday HCM and Payroll data model as it relates to integrations.
• Strong client-facing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Confidence leading workshops and influencing technical and design decisions.
• Relevant Workday certifications, such as Integrations, PECI/PICOF, or equivalent.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AWS and/or middleware platforms such as Dell Boomi or MuleSoft.
• Previous experience within the Workday Partner ecosystem.
