Job summary
European Molecular Biology Laboratory is seeking a Pan-EMBL Workday Solution Expert – Finance. You will drive development and adoption of Workday-based finance tools across six sites in five countries, ensuring scalable, compliant solutions aligned with strategic goals.
You will translate business requirements into Workday finance configurations, manage roadmaps, and collaborate with ERP, data and leadership teams to deliver high‑quality internal solutions and user training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, business admin or related field.
- Minimum three years in Finance systems, ERP implementation or process improvement.
- Experience with Workday; other ERPs a plus.
- Experience in product management or process optimization.
- Smartsheet project management experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Translate departmental needs into clear product requirements.
- Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility and alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver internal solutions.
- Manage product roadmaps, timelines and stakeholder communications.
- Train and support finance staff on system usage and best practices.
