Job Description:

The Planet Group has recently been engaged by an established Workday partner to secure two Certified Engagement Managers on a contract engagement (initially 3 months). The roles can be based in the UK or Europe with remote working options.

Role Overview:

As a Workday Engagement Manager, you will fully manage the successful implementation of Workday solutions for customers by working closely with customer business teams and internal delivery teams to define, scope, and deliver solutions that are fit for purpose and commercially viable. You will take accountability for the entire delivery lifecycle alongside sales and capability Solution Architects. Your responsibilities include project planning, resourcing, milestone tracking, commercial management, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation of global Workday programs from pre-sales to implementation and handover to Application Management Services (AMS).
• Serve as the key client interface between functional and technical teams and the client.
• Provide domain expertise (HCM, Financials, Payroll, or relevant Workday capabilities) to offer functional insight and thought leadership.
• Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including planning, resourcing, milestone tracking, and commercial management.
• Lead and support teams comprising colleagues, clients, and partners to share knowledge and foster an integrated delivery approach.
• Define objectives, milestones, and timescales with clients, including contract and commercial terms.
• Identify requirements, business processes, application configurations, testing plans, and document artifacts to ensure clarity and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Create structured, accurate deliverables and present to client steering committees to secure approval and consensus.
