The Planet Group has recently been engaged by an established Workday partner to secure two Certified Engagement Managers on a contract engagement (initially 3 months). The roles can be based in the UK or Europe and offer remote working.

Role Overview:

As a Workday Engagement Manager, you will fully manage the successful implementation of Workday solutions for customers by working closely with customer business teams and internal delivery teams to drive the scope, definition, and delivery of solutions that are fit for purpose and commercially viable. You will take accountability for the complete delivery lifecycle alongside sales and capability Solution Architects. You will manage all aspects of your projects, which may include one large, complex project or multiple smaller projects. Responsibilities include project planning, resourcing, milestone tracking, commercial management, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation of global Workday programmes from pre-sales through implementation to handover to AMS (Application Management Services), ensuring commercial viability.
• Act as the primary client interface between functional and technical teams and the client.
• Provide domain expertise (HCM, Financials, Payroll, or relevant Workday capability) to offer functional insight and thought leadership.
• Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including planning, resourcing, milestone tracking, and client satisfaction.
• Lead and support blended teams of colleagues, client, and partner resources to share knowledge and foster an integrated delivery approach.
• Define objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and contractual terms with clients.
• Identify requirements, business processes, application configurations, testing plans, and document artefacts to ensure shared understanding and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Create structured and accurate deliverables and present to client steering groups to secure approval and consensus.
