Job summary

Vallum Associates seeks a seasoned Workday specialist to lead data migration and integration projects within HR/payroll domains. The role requires deep experience with Workday HCM, EIBs and data conversion tools, plus strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across HR and IT to ensure accurate migration delivers and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in Workday data migration, with a proven track record of successful HR/payroll data

• Experience with data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation and reconciliation.
• Understanding of employee, organizational, payroll and workforce data structures.

Job description

• Proven experience (8+) working experience in Workday Data Migration and Workday Integration exposure.
• Appropriate degree or relevant professional qualifications.
• Experience of systems development change lifecycles, best practices and approaches.
• Strong experience working with Workday HCM and related business processes.
• Proven experience in data migration projects, preferably involving HR and payroll systems.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Understanding of employee, organizational, payroll, and workforce data structures.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and troubleshoot migration issues.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
• Experience migrating data from Workday to payroll platforms or other HCM solutions.
• Knowledge of payroll processes and payroll data structures.
• Experience with Workday reporting, EIBs, integrations, or data conversion tools.
• Workday certification is an added advantage.
