Job summary

Nottingham College is seeking an Industry Skills Coordinator on a fixed-term contract to support and guide students to gain excellent industry experience. You will act as a conduit between the curriculum teams, employers and learners to promote placements and coordinate work experience within programmes.

The role is full-time (37 hours per week) based at Highfields Campus in Nottingham, with a salary of £29,390 to £33,602 per year.

Responsibilities

• Act as conduit between curriculum team, employer and learner; updating progress.
• Promote work experience/placements opportunities within programmes to maximise opportunities for students.
• Ensure timely completion of work placement/experience within agreed timescales.
• Support students in applying for work placements and experience professionally.
• Ensure students log placement hours on the college system.
• Support curriculum teams in organising industry activities such as guest lectures and trips/visits.
