Job summary

Capital City College in London is seeking a Work Experience Officer to support learners, identify industry needs and coordinate placements, ensuring students gain valuable work-based experiences.

The role is a full-time fixed-term contract ending 2 July 2027. You will work with staff, external organisations and parents to promote safe, inclusive opportunities and help students progress into further education or careers.

Qualifications

• Experience in industry engagement or business development.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Commitment to professional self-development and training.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with staff, parents/carers and external stakeholders to support students identified as being at risk.
• Promote College Health and Safety policies and complete required training.
• Engage with industry partners during events and interviews.
• Contribute to teaching and assessment materials as part of the College's group tutorial scheme.
• Assist with safeguarding and DBS requirements as needed.
