Capital City College in London is seeking a Work Experience Officer to connect learners with external organisations and coordinate placements. The role focuses on identifying industry needs, preparing students for placements, and supporting their progression into careers.

You will work within a collaborative team, delivering high‑quality support and promoting safety, inclusion, and continuous professional development across the college.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to the continued development of teaching, learning and assessment materials as part of the College’s group tutorial scheme.
• Be committed to professional self-development, through participation in-service training as necessary for the successful carrying out of the job.
• Liaise closely with relevant staff, parents/carers and external stakeholders in supporting students identified as being at risk.
• Engage with stakeholders during open events, parents evenings or prospective student interviews.
• To comply with and promote College Health and Safety policies and procedures and to undertake recommended Health and Safety training as and when necessary.
• Experience in industry engagement, business development, or related.

About The Role

This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis, 35 hours per week.

You will act as a key link between the learners and external organisations, identifying industry needs and supporting students to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and experiences for placements and successful careers.
