Lockwood Publishing Ltd is seeking an experienced WordPress developer to rebuild and manage two corporate websites on a retainer/freelance basis, with potential for ongoing maintenance after launch.

You will design, build, and launch on WordPress using Elementor or WPBakery, ensure responsive, secure, and performance-optimised sites, handle hosting, updates and backups during transition, implement SEO and analytics, and provide ongoing support under retainer terms.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' hands-on WordPress development experience.
  • Demonstrable portfolio of corporate/professional websites (not personal blogs or small hobby sites).
  • Experience with page builders (Elementor/WPBakery) and custom theme/plugin development.
  • Familiarity with website security hardening and GDPR-compliant data handling.
  • UK or Europe-based, able to work in UK business hours overlap.
