Job summary

Maxwell Bond is seeking a Senior WordPress Engineer to take technical ownership of a portfolio of websites for a growing residential business in Alderley Edge. The role is hybrid, with core office days Tuesday to Thursday, and offers £50,000–£60,000 per year.

You will be the technical focal point for the web function, collaborating with marketing and internal engineering teams, and gradually shaping the web function as it grows.

Qualifications

• Senior-level WordPress experience.
• Proficient in PHP and MySQL.
• Strong CSS and front-end development skills.
• Experience with WordPress plugins and integrations.
• Comfortable integrating APIs into WordPress.

We're looking for a WordPress Engineer to take technical ownership of a portfolio of websites across a growing residential business.

The Role

You'll be the technical focal point for the web function, taking ownership of the websites and working closely with marketing and internal engineering teams.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy and wants to have a genuine impact. Initially, you'll operate independently, with the opportunity to help shape and grow the web function over time.
