Job summary

StaxoGroup is seeking a WordPress Developer to join our busy web team in the South West London area. You will build bespoke WordPress themes from in-house designs, manage code with GitHub, and work with Advanced Custom Fields.

You will work on multi-country, multi-language sites, client portals, staff portals, intranets, and bespoke integrations, with opportunities to learn new skills. This is an office-based, full-time role, starting immediately.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with UI Design – background in modern, responsive user interfaces.
• Experience with JavaScript – including jQuery and handlebars.
• Experience with PHP – especially WordPress hooks.
• Experience with GitHub.
• Experience with WordPress plugin development.

Responsibilities

• Develop bespoke WordPress sites, not using templates; create themes from provided designs.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver multi-country, multi-language websites and client portals.
• Contribute to integrations, eCommerce features, and bespoke CRM projects.

We are looking for someone who is experienced with creating bespoke WordPress themes using designs provided and created in-house. We use GitHub to manage our code and make extensive use of Advanced Custom Fields.

• Multi-country websites in multiple languages

Do you have?

• Full UK driving licence
• Experience with UI Design – a background in modern, responsive user interfaces

• Experience with WordPress Plugin development

What you will be doing:

As developers we are experienced at finding bespoke solutions for any situation. We do not use templates all our websites are bespoke.

You have the opportunity to work with some well-known brands.

This role comes with an opportunity to learn and pick up new skills along the way.

This is an office-based role, Monday-Friday.

Full-time / Permanent

Start Immediately

40 Days paid holiday annually (28 days + 8 days bank holidays + typically around 4 days discretional for extra days before and after the key bank holidays Christmas and New year’s)

Salary – Negotiable depending on experience.
