Abatec Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist (Setter, Operator, Programmer) for a varied role in Clevedon. You will prepare, program and operate a range of woodworking machinery to produce bespoke joinery and specialist furniture for clinical settings.

The role requires interpreting technical drawings, setting up CNC machines and ensuring high accuracy and efficiency. Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30 with on-site parking available.

Formación

• Previous experience operating woodworking machinery within a manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience setting up and programming CNC machines, routers, beam saws and edge banders.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications accurately.
• Good understanding of machine tooling, routine maintenance and basic fault diagnosis.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, set up and operate various woodworking machines, including beam saws, edge banders and CNC routers.
• Operate Biesse equipment, including vertical CNC and pod-and-rail machines.
• Inspect machined parts throughout production to ensure dimensions, finishes and quality standards are met.
• Plan and prioritise machining tasks to support production schedules and delivery deadlines.
• Perform routine machine checks, change tooling and carry out basic troubleshooting when required.
