Job summary

Bodhi Bespoke in Monton, Greater Manchester, is seeking an experienced Woodworking Machinist / CNC Machinist to join our bespoke joinery workshop. You will machine components for commercial joinery, retail furniture, pharmacy furniture and specialist shopfitting projects.

You will operate CNC routers and woodworking machinery, read drawings and cutting lists, and work with materials including MDF, MFC, plywood and solid timber.

Qualifications

• Experience in woodworking, CNC machining or furniture manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Knowledge of workshop machinery, tooling and health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC routers and woodworking machinery to produce accurate components.
• Read manufacturing drawings and cutting lists.
• Work with materials including MDF, MFC, plywood and solid timber.
• Carry out quality checks and minimise material waste.
• Work closely with the Workshop Manager and bench joiners to meet production deadlines.
