Job summary

Sainsbury’s is seeking a Merchandiser for Womenswear Wovens, a permanent role based between home and Coventry. You’ll own a customer-led merchandising strategy for Clothing, shaping ranges and stock flow across all channels.

Working with Buyers, Design, Supply Chain and suppliers, you’ll use data and trends to inform decisions, manage budgets, and push performance. The ideal candidate has clothing merchandising experience, strong analytical skills and a collaborative, fast‑moving mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising experience (clothing experience strongly preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data.
• Experience delivering results to target as an individual and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-moving retail environment.
• Ability to influence and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Highly organised with strong planning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Customer-focused with a positive, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Own a customer-led merchandising strategy for Clothing and ensure balanced, commercial ranges.
• Use data, trends and customer insight to inform decisions and manage budgets.
• Collaborate with Buying, Design, Supply Chain, Retail and suppliers to keep stock flowing and meet milestones.
• Regularly review performance to identify risks and opportunities shaping trade conversations and future ranges.
• Support forecasting, trading and range decisions to bring standout clothing to customers.
