Job summary

SUCCESS TALENT is hiring a Womenswear Designer in Rochdale. A seasoned designer with 2–3 years in apparel and a strong portfolio is needed to join a multichannel fashion & footwear business.

You will work with the Senior Design team to develop design strategies, seasonal collections, and CAD specifications, supporting juniors and ensuring brand consistency across products.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of design experience in apparel, ideally with a High Street brand.
• Strong portfolio showcasing apparel and footwear work.

Responsibilities

• Work with Senior Design team to create design strategy for each brand and season.
• Develop trend overviews and design collections.
• Translate concepts into technical CAD design specifications for seasonal collections with Buyers and Brand managers.
• Guide Junior Designers to deliver clear CAD specs.
• Ensure compliance with children’s safety standards where relevant.
• Collaborate with factories to build strong relationships and maintain planners and POs.

We are recruiting for a seasoned Womenswear Designer to join a multichannel fashion & footwear business who sell multiple brands.

The right candidate should be a Designer with at least 2-3 years previous experience and a strong portfolio to showcase their work across apparel and footwear.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Senior Design team to help create a design strategy for each brand and season, trend overviews and design collections.
• Take ideas from initial design concept and technical CAD design specifications to help create seasonal collections collaboratively with Buyers and Brand managers.
• Support Junior Designers to deliver clear and concise technical CAD design specifications
• Understanding children's safety standard guidelines and feeding them back to the team.
• Working alongside factories to build strong relationships.
• Maintain planners and PO's.

Skills and Experience requirements

• The successful candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years previous Design experience in apparel and ideally gained with a High Street fashion brand.
• The relevant experience should be supported with a relevant portfolio.
