Job summary

Cardiff Met Sport seeks a Women’s Rugby Physiotherapist to develop and deliver medical services for the Women’s BUCS Super Rugby and WRU PDC programmes. You will work with the men’s rugby physio and the Performance Services Team to coordinate CPD and service provision.

You will bring extensive sport physiotherapy experience, CSP membership, HCPC registration, and a pitch-side trauma qualification. The role requires rugby environment experience and strong relationship-building with athletes and

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
• Pitch side trauma qualification.
• Experience as a physiotherapist in rugby or sport.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary medical liaison with coaching and performance staff for the WBSR programme.
• Plan and administer a robust physiotherapy provision for the Women’s performance programme.
• Lead delivery of physiotherapy services for the Women’s team and PDC using the MDT and student workforce.
• Collaborate with UPD and WRU pathway staff to support CPD and provision.
