Job summary

Cardiff Met University seeks a Women's Rugby Physiotherapist to lead medical services for the Women's BUCS Super Rugby and WRU PDC programmes. You will plan and deliver robust physio provision, collaborating with coaches, the Head of Performance Services, and the MDT to support performance.

You will bring a physiotherapy degree, HCPC registration, CSP membership, rugby experience, and strong communication with athletes and staff to enhance wellbeing and performance in Wales' capital.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a physiotherapist in a sports environment.
• HCPC registration and CSP membership.
• Degree in Physiotherapy and pitch-side trauma qualification.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary medical liaison with coaching and performance staff for the WBSR programme.
• Plan and administer robust physio provision for the Cardiff Met Women's performance programme.
• Lead detailed physiotherapy provision for the Women's performance Team and PDC, working with the MDT and student workforce.
• Collaborate with the Head of Performance Services and Head Coach to meet programme needs.
