Job summary

Cardiff Met Sport in Wales seeks a Women’s Rugby Physiotherapist to lead medical services for the BUCS Super Rugby and WRU PDC programmes. You will work with the Head Coach and Head of Physiotherapy to deliver robust physiotherapy provision and CPD opportunities.

You must hold a Physiotherapy degree, HCPC registration, CSP membership, and a pitch-side trauma qualification, with rugby experience and strong relationship skills to support athletes and staff.

Qualifications

Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
Experience as a physiotherapist in a rugby environment.
Ability to build positive relationships with athletes, staff and stakeholders.
Pitch side trauma qualification.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver medical services for the Women's BUCS Super Rugby and WRU PDC.
Liaise with coaches, pathway staff and performance teams to meet needs.
Plan and administer a robust physiotherapy provision for the programme.
Lead detailed physiotherapy delivery, utilizing MDT, academics and student workforce.
