Job summary

Sunderland AFC Women is seeking a 1st Team Performance Analyst to ensure our first team is well prepared and informed by high-quality performance analysis.

You will lead post-match, style of play and in-game analysis, producing concise insights that support coaching, technical and leadership teams. You will collaborate across the Club and with Bay Collective to shape analysis processes and maintain data standards.

Qualifications

• Analytical, collaborative and proactive professional with a relevant qualification or equivalent experience in performance analysis, and proficiency in coding software.
• Confident leading meetings and delivering presentations, able to translate complex information into clear messages.
• Drone licence and Enhanced DBS through SAFC are required or pursued as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-match, style of play and in-game analysis to deliver concise insights for coaching and leadership teams.
• Collaborate across the Club and with Bay Collective to shape high-performing analysis processes.
• Maintain best practice performance databases and identify innovation opportunities to support department strategy.
• Present findings to coaching staff and senior management to inform decision-making.

You will lead post-match, style of play and in-game analysis, producing engaging and concise insights that support decision-making by the coaching, technical and leadership teams.

Working collaboratively across the Club and with Bay Collective, you will shape high-performing analysis processes, maintain best practice performance databases and identify innovation opportunities that support the department’s strategy.

What We Ask For:

We’re looking for an analytical, collaborative and proactive professional with a relevant qualification or equivalent experience in performance analysis, and proficiency in coding software.

You will be confident leading meetings and delivering presentations, able to translate complex information into clear messages, and hold a drone licence.

You will be required to obtain an Enhanced DBS through SAFC.
