Job summary

Sunderland AFC Women’s team seeks a 1st Team Performance Analyst to ensure the squad is well prepared with insights from post‑match and in‑game analysis. You will lead analytical outputs, shape evaluation processes, and work with coaching staff to translate data into practical strategies.

You will collaborate across the Club and with Bay Collective to maintain robust databases and explore innovation opportunities that support the department’s strategy.

Qualifications

• Analytical, collaborative and proactive professional with a relevant qualification or equivalent experience in performance analysis, and proficiency in coding software.
• Confident leading meetings and delivering presentations, able to translate complex information into clear messages, and hold a drone licence.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure through SAFC.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-match, style of play and in-game analysis to produce concise insights for coaching and leadership teams.
• Collaborate across the Club and with Bay Collective to shape high‑performing analysis processes.
• Maintain best‑practice performance databases and identify innovation opportunities.
• Support decision‑making with engaging analytics that reflect performance trends and tactical insights.
