Job description

We are seeking an experienced Network Data Administrator to support offshore and onshore network infrastructure within the Oil & Gas industry. The role requires strong Project management skills with networking knowledge, coordination with multiple vendors, and the ability to understand and articulate technical scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Understand project scope, tasks, and deliverables clearly.
• Act as a technical liaison between internal teams and external vendors.
• Coordinate with multiple vendors for network-related implementations and troubleshooting.
• Analyze and articulate network issues, scenarios, and possible resolutions.
• Provide technical oversight without necessarily being hands-on at configuration level.
• Ensure compliance with offshore travel documentation and safety requirements.
• Support offshore network infrastructure, including seabed systems.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong understanding of Networking concepts and architecture.
• Hands-on or strong working knowledge of:
  • Cisco networking technologies
  • Meraki networking solutions
  • Network firewalls
  • RF (Radio Frequency) offshore communication systems
  • Satellite communication technologies
  • VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal)
