Job summary

A leading global technology firm is seeking an expert in network security to provide technical support in the design and maintenance of global security systems. Responsibilities include enforcing standards, implementing secure architectures, and driving remediation of security issues. Qualifications

• Expert in network security standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of network-based vulnerabilities, threats, and risks.
• Advanced knowledge of network access control methodologies.
• Experience with NAC solutions and methodologies.
• Nice-to-have: Forescout NAC, WAFs (F5/Cloudflare), secure routing & switching, threat hunting, Cisco ISE/RADIUS.

Responsibilities

• Create and enforce global network security standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Implement secure network architectures and solutions. Perform technology and operational risk assessments, identifying control gaps and risky or problematic configurations.
• Work with stakeholders to drive remediation of security issues.
• Promote security awareness and advise on secure operational practices across IT and the organization.

Experience/Skills Required:

• Must have proficiencies:
• Expert - network security standards, methodologies, and best practices
• Expert - knowledge of network-based vulnerabilities, threats, and risks
• Understanding of networking protocols and services
• Advanced knowledge of network access control (NAC) solutions and methodologies
• Hands-on experience in network security operations and design
• Nice to have proficiencies:
• Forescout network access control
• Web Application Firewall (F5 and/or Cloudflare)
• Secure routing & switching
• Threat Hunting
• Cisco ISE / RADIUS authentication
