DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Wintel Active Directory Engineer to provide Level 3 support for Windows Server and AD across managed customer environments. The role emphasizes health, security, and compliance of directory services, including domain controllers, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, and replication topology, within ITIL 4 frameworks.

The candidate must meet UK government residency requirements and be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.

Formación

• 4–7 years’ hands-on enterprise Windows Server experience (2016/2019/2022/2025) with patching and hardening.
• Strong on-prem AD architecture, domain controllers, FSMO roles, trusts, sites and services.
• Advanced GPO design and security enforcement across multiple sites.

Responsabilidades

• Plan AD capacity, domain controller placement, FSMO distribution and site topology.
• Maintain AD CMDB records and dependencies; support OS lifecycle and security roadmaps.
• Investigate directory incidents; update runbooks, knowledge articles and post-incident reviews.
• Coordinate GPO, DNS, trusts with Security/Identity/Network teams; monitor DC health.
• Automate provisioning and health checks with PowerShell; ensure backups and restores.
• Document topology diagrams, runbooks, SOPs and audit artifacts; ensure CIS baselines.
• Monitor replication latency and SYSVOL consistency; handle L3 incidents with escalation as needed.
