Job summary

Airbus invites undergraduates to join the Engineering Structures Wing in Filton for a 12.5‑month placement focused on Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Digital Analysis. You will deliver analysis results from initial task definition to final output, using Hyperworks and NASTRAN while collaborating across transnational teams.

The scheme develops project management and communication skills with opportunities for STEM outreach.

Qualifications

• Open to undergraduates only for the whole placement duration.
• Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with ability to convey technical concepts clearly to international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Digital Analysis within the Wing Team.
• Deliver key analysis results from task definition to final delivery.
• Develop scripts or codes to automate repetitive tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sites in the UK, France, and Germany.
