Job summary

Airbus S.A.S. in the UK is seeking a multidisciplinary FEM engineer to lead Finite Element Modelling and Digital Analysis activities supporting stress analysis for metallic and composite structures.

You will collaborate with Loads, Design and Stress Analysis teams to build GFEMs, DFEMs and IFEMs and extract results to justify analyses. You will guide suppliers, support in-house training for early careers, and drive improvements in FEM governance, processes and tools, including EVE workflow

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering with relevant engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of stress analysis methods and their development.
• Experience with metallic and composite aircraft structures.
• Familiarity with airworthiness regulations and governance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead FEM and Digital Analysis activities to support stress analysis.
• Provide technical guidance to Airbus internal teams and suppliers.
• Develop training for early careers and new hires.
• Lead work packages and integrate with analysis teams.
• Develop methods for future FEM and deploy EVE/NGSA/FDNS.
