Airbus S.A.S. is seeking an experienced FEM engineer to lead Finite Element Modelling and Digital Analysis to support stress analysis for metallic and composite aircraft structures.

You will collaborate with Loads, Design and Stress Analysis teams, guiding suppliers and offshore teams, while developing training for early careers and advancing FEM methods and tools across Airbus programs.

Competenze

• Aerospace Engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters).
• Solid understanding of stress analysis methods and their application to aircraft structures.
• Experience with static strength, loading and failure modes of aerospace structures.
• Knowledge of metallic and composite structures and airworthiness regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work under pressure.

Mansioni

• Lead FEM and Digital Analysis activities to support stress analysis.
• Provide technical guidance to Airbus internal teams and offshore suppliers as required.
• Develop and deliver training for early careers and new hires in FEM practices.
• Lead work packages and integrate with other analysis teams.
• Develop methods and processes for future FEM capabilities with method experts and tool owners.
• Deploy EVE, NGSA and FDNS for future programs.
