Job summary

Airbus is seeking an undergraduate intern to join the Engineering Structures Wing team in Filton, Bristol for 12.5 months starting 16 August 2027. You will focus on Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Digital Analysis within the Wing Architect and integration team, delivering analysis results across Airbus programs.

Open to undergraduates only for the full duration; you will develop project management and communication skills, with cross‑site collaboration in the UK, France and Germany.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only for the whole duration of the placement.
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex concepts across teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Digital Analysis within the Wing Architect and integration team.
• Deliver key analysis results for Airbus aircraft programs and own deliverables from task definition to final delivery.
• Develop codes to automate repetitive analysis tasks.
