Job summary

Majestic Wines Bangor is seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant to support the store team in driving sales and daily operations. You will provide exceptional service, manage tasks, and engage customers with our wine range.

The role requires evenings and weekends work, a UK manual licence, and a willingness to learn and grow within a popular UK wine retailer. The position offers permanent part-time hours (18 per week) with responsibilities including store upkeep, stock deliveries, and active customer

Qualifications

• Excellent time-management, delegation and problem-solving skills.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and service to every customer.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team.
• Can-do attitude with a passion for solving problems.
• Adaptable and resilient to changing business demands.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Wine knowledge is beneficial with interest to learn more (WSET level 2).
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence held 12 months+ with <=6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting targets.
• Deliver market-leading customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Act as an ambassador for the store and engage customers with product knowledge and tastings.
• Take ownership of wine knowledge and pursue WSET level 2.
• Maintain and present the store’s appearance, both inside and outside.
• Perform day-to-day tasks from delivering wine to stock deliveries and customer outreach.
• Identify improvements to optimise store operations and share ideas with the team.
