Job summary

NTT DATA in the United Kingdom is seeking a Windows engineer, specialist or architect to support enterprise Windows Server environments and connected infrastructure services. The role ensures secure, stable and manageable platforms across physical, virtualised and cloud-connected environments.

You will monitor, configure, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and related services.

Qualifications

• Proficient in managing Windows Server environments and related services.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP and authentication services.
• Scripting with PowerShell for automation and admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and administer Windows Server environments.
• Resolve incidents involving operating systems and related infrastructure services.
• Perform server provisioning, configuration, patching and upgrades.
• Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and related platform services.
• Troubleshoot performance, authentication, connectivity and storage issues.
• Support vulnerability remediation and OS hardening.
• Develop PowerShell automation for recurring administration.
• Support clustering, backup, recovery and DR testing.
• Maintain configuration records and runbooks.
• Identify opportunities for standardisation and lifecycle improvement.
• At L4, lead complex OS and directory-services investigations.
• At L5, define Windows platform architecture, standards and roadmaps.
