Job summary

Renewable Energy Systems in the United Kingdom is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician to carry out Major Component / Large Corrective projects as part of a team. You will specialise in Major Component replacements (gearbox, generator, main shaft, yaw ring) with some smaller works between.

Knowledge of multi-platform MCR replacements, industry awareness, and strong communication are essential for successful project delivery while ensuring CDM compliance and HSQE standards.

Qualifications

• MCR Replacements experience across multiple wind turbine platforms.
• Good communication and organisational abilities essential.
• Familiarity with CDM procedures and HSQE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Major Component replacements (gearbox, generator, main shaft, yaw ring) on wind turbines.
• Ensure lifting operations and CDM compliance are followed at all times.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
