Job summary

RES, the world's largest independent renewable energy company, is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician (Major Components / Large Corrective) to join our on-site team in Aberdeen. You will carry out major component replacements and related corrective works on multi-megawatt turbines, collaborating with skilled colleagues to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

Ideally you bring heavy-lift experience, robust knowledge of gearbox, generator, main shaft and yaw ring exchanges, plus relevant GWO

Qualifications

• Experience delivering heavy lift and major component exchanges.
• Knowledge of multi-platform MCR replacements, industry awareness, and CDM procedures.
• GWO training, mechanical or electrical qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Major Component / Large Corrective projects as part of a team.
• Major Component replacements including gearbox, generator, main shaft, yaw ring exchanges.
