Job summary

Eventus Legal in Worcestershire is seeking a Wills & Probate Solicitor to join our established private client team in Stourport-on-Severn. This permanent, full-time role may consider part-time applicants and offers a varied caseload, hybrid working, and generous annual leave.

You will manage your own caseload, draft Wills and estate plans, handle probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection matters, while advising on trusts and Inheritance Tax.

Job description

Eventus Legal are seeking a Wills & Probate Solicitor to join an established private client team in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire. This is a permanent job position, with full-time working preferred although part-time applications will be considered. The opportunity offers a varied private client caseload, potential hybrid working, 23 days holiday plus UK bank holidays and additional paid days for your birthday and Christmas, alongside genuine scope to progress your career.

Role Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of Wills & Probate and wider private client matters
• Drafting and advising on Wills and estate planning
• Handling probate and estate administration matters
• Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Dealing with Court of Protection matters
• Advising on trusts and Inheritance Tax planning
• Advising executors and beneficiaries
• Supporting clients with estate and succession planning
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering a high standard of client care

Person Specification

• Relevant experience across Wills & Probate and private client work
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• A compassionate and approachable manner, particularly when supporting clients through difficult or emotional circumstances
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage your own caseload effectively
• A practical and commercially aware approach
• An interest in building and maintaining long-term client relationships
