Job summary

Sellick Partnership is working with a private client team in Stourport to appoint an experienced Wills & Probate Solicitor. You will manage a varied caseload across Wills, Probate and Private Client work, delivering high-quality, practical advice to clients.

The role is permanent with hybrid working between the office and home. The successful candidate will support estate planning, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection matters while building strong client relationships and

• Qualified Solicitor with Wills & Probate experience.

Overview of the Wills & Probate Solicitor role

We are currently working with a friendly and established Private Client team in Stourport who are looking to appoint an experienced Wills & Probate Solicitor.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys building strong relationships with clients and providing a high-quality, personal service. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage a varied private client caseload within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities of the Wills & Probate Solicitor will include

• Managing a varied caseload across Wills & Probate and Private Client work

• Advising clients on Wills and estate planning

• Handling probate and estate administration matters

• Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney

• Dealing with Court of Protection matters

• Advising on trusts and Inheritance Tax planning

• Advising executors and beneficiaries

• Supporting clients with estate and succession planning

• Managing your own caseload effectively

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

• Providing clear, practical and compassionate advice to clients

Required experience/qualifications of the Wills & Probate Solicitor position will include

• Qualified Solicitor with relevant Wills & Probate experience

• Strong client care and communication skills

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage your own caseload independently

• Commercially aware and practical approach

• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

• A compassionate and approachable manner when dealing with clients

• Ability to contribute positively as an active and valued member of the team
