Job summary

West Midlands Safari Park is seeking a dedicated Animal Keeper for the Discovery Trail section. The role involves daily husbandry tasks across reptiles, invertebrates, bats and red pandas, plus guest engagement and talks.

A wildlife-related qualification to HND level or higher and prior experience are essential, with weekend and bank holiday work required. You will monitor animal health, maintain enclosures, and assist with Safari Academy activities, all while upholding high standards of care in

Responsibilities

• Feed animals and perform daily husbandry tasks.
• Clean enclosures and monitor animal health.
• Assist with enclosure maintenance and routine welfare checks.
• Engage with guests, deliver talks and guest experiences on the Discovery Trail.
• Support Safari Academy activities as required.
