Job summary

BCS Group is seeking a Digital Printer Operator - Signs to join the Sign Operations Team in the Midlands. You will operate Canon flatbed and roll-to-roll UV printers, laminate and cut vinyl, and ensure efficient manufacturing of commercial and bespoke signage.

You will also be involved in stock control, audits, and quality processes, reporting to the Team Leader. A strong focus on accuracy, teamwork and adherence to safety protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the sign print industry, specifically with large format/wide format signage using a wide range of substrates.
• Knowledge of flatbed and roll to roll UV printers; Oce Arizona etc.
• Experience in mounting, laminating, cutting and weeding.

Responsibilities

• Operate Canon flatbed printing machine to manufacture commercial and bespoke signage.
• Laminate and perform vinyl cutting operations; mount and lay up vinyl to substrates.
• Operate CNC router and ensure seamless print-to-cut process.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and report any issues delaying orders.
• Support the Sign Operations Team and assist with annual stock checks.
• Ensure work follows defined processes and timescales; communicate with Team Leaders.
