Job summary

BCS Group is seeking a Digital Printer Operator - Signs to join the signs operations team in Stafford. The role involves operating Canon flatbed and Zund cutting equipment to produce commercial and bespoke signage, with focus on accuracy, productivity and adherence to processes.

You will support stock control, assist with audits, and contribute to continuous improvement while working closely with Team Leaders and the Quality Team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the sign print industry, large format signage
• Knowledge of flatbed and roll-to-roll UV printers; Oce Arizona etc
• Experience in mounting, laminating, cutting and weeding
• Attention to detail and ability to follow process
• Ability to work well within a team, offering support to others

Responsibilities

• Manufacture signage using the Canon flatbed printing machine, working with the Team Leader to maximise machine capacity
• Laminating and vinyl cutting operations; mounting and laying up vinyl to substrates
• CNC router operation; seamless print-to-cut process
• Maintain accurate stock levels within the system and ensure orders are picked accurately
• Report stock issues and potential delays to Team Leader and Quality Team
• Wrap, band and package all orders per delivery method
• Contribute to continuous improvement and work to agreed timescales
